Stormy Skies progress

 I am surprised how fast these machine pieced blocks are going.  I'm even doing it the hard way and it's fast.  My plan was to do one every other day because it would take that long to feel like working on another but I'm managing 3 or 4 a day. 

I'm almost finished with the EPP blocks too. I have the bouquet and the big one left.  They go faster now too.  I don't know if it's because I don't want them to end or what.  I'll be back to hexies before I'm ready but I'm kinda ready too. I need to get back to hand quilting that one hexi blanket and see if I'm ready to put the next one on a frame soon.  Maybe soon I'll feel like spray basting a quilt outside. 

Another thing I need to do is pull out the spare machine and play with it.  I learned how to clean the tension pieces to Bobby Lee my grandma's vintage Singer so I think I'll do that soon and play with the Brother while I'm waiting on the pieces to soak and dry.  The weekend is coming and I can't wait.  It will start in 45 minutes.

You can see the water-soluble pen I used to make corners line up and they actually didn't. ugh.
