My husband's quilt

My husband had to keep this one for himself when I finished it.

Scrap Happy Star Quilt pattern by Izy Sew Buzy available on Etsy

My quilt

I made a quilt as I go quilt to look like library books on shelves.  It's huge but I love it and sometimes it's not thick enough

The frogs I thought would never end

My youngest has a fixation on words. For a long time he would say "Frog" when he wanted to say something but didn't really have anything to say.  Instead of hi, yes, or thank you.   He's 21 and before Christmas 2024 I completed his quilt.

it started with 24 fabrics from Dale Allen-Rowse @thequiltingcowboy when he had a sale.

Then I found a paper piecing pattern on the internet by Maggie Sparrow

144 frogs later

it was so hard to keep the frogs from matching from row to row.  Ugh I failed

He didn't care.

Week of March 15th

Here are my squares for this week

That completes row 2, I think

Amazing Labyrinth for son

For the last few years I have been working on a quilt for my youngest son.  Once I finished it, my older son asked if it was his turn.  I had made a quilt for him once and it didn't last from frequent washing in a washer with an agitator.  But I finally started on it in January.

The pattern is The Amazing Labyrinth by Krista Zaleski

but the boy wants his own colors so we're going to try this:

It's going to be interesting to say the least

hand sewing organization

A recent question came up about how I keep my hand-sewing organized.

I keep my current EPP project like this:

this is the box the paper templates came in each pattern in. Each pattern has it's own envelope.

This Caboodle case has a sticker on it that it's compliant as of 1/2014.  So it's not that old.
I got it in a FB Marketplace purchase last year.

My Sewing Room, studio, my room, my dungeon

I recently took some organizational pictures and some inspirational pictures so I thought I would put them up here.

find my mistake?

I'm going to have to cut into the Amazing Labyrinth and fix a mistake.  Can you find it?
